[John D. T. McAllister, in Temple Minute Book, St. George, Sept. 3, 1888] Gave instruction to give nothing but the proper wording when washing, anointing, etc. Pres[ident] [Brigham] Young once said that Free Masonary is the corruption of the keys and powers of the Holy Priesthood. So would these Endowments be changed if we were not particular about the proper wording of these ceremonies. Instructed the recorders to be careful, for a great responsibility rested upon them.

Both Free Masonry AND LDS Temple Endowments and all the other LDS temple ceremonies are the corruptions of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.
