150 years ago today - May 9, 1863 (Afternoon)

[Brigham Young Sermon] Prest. Young wished to impress upon the minds of the Saints that he desired them to raise cotton, indigo, olive and fig trees, and everything else that can be raise here. Said the people need not fear raising too much cotton, for they would find a ready market for it.
