The 7th verse of 2nd chapter of Genesis ought to read---God breathed into Adam his spirit (i.e. Adam's spirit) or breath of life; but when the word "rauch" applies to Eve, it should be translated "lives." [Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 301, May 17, 1843.]
