Several curious tidbits that happened on this day in Mormon History
155 years ago today - Sept 1, 1858
Brigham Young writes Thomas L. Kane "that the time is not far distant when Utah shall be able to assume her rights and place among the family of nations."
BY was also a megalomaniac. He wanted to be the King of the world.
Jesus Christ ONLY is King of kings and Lord of lords and he shall reign upon the earth in the future TWO 1000 year kingdoms or periods of time. (1st = flesh and blood only; 2nd = those of the 1st Resurrection only). All per KJV and BOM. Both 1000 year periods are to be preceded by God's judgments and His terrible wrath - many think the 2nd judgment/wrath period to be 3.5 years or 1260 days. 1st j/w period = ??? length, but it does seem to be beginning.
