Geo. Q. Cannon "said it was very improper for children under 8 years of age, who seemed to be approaching death, to be ordained to the Priesthood; it was also wrong for children over this age who were sick and had not been baptized to be ordained. Under no circumstances should children of a less age than 8 years be ordained or baptized."
