Arranged a committee meeting with A.W. Ivins, R. R. Lyman and Willard Young and myself appointed by President Grant to investigate certain charges made by one Mr Punett [?] against the Presiding Bishopric and others, charging them with graft &c from the Church in construction of the Belvedere apartments & other buildings & improvements. In referring to this committee I shall call it the Investigation Committee.
