Hugh B. Brown of the First Presidency passes away in Salt Lake City on the same day as Elder ElRay L. Christiansen, Assistant to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, passes away. This is the first time two General Authorities have died on the same day since the deaths of Joseph and Hyrum Smith.
