This event was in reference to Edward R. Davies, Mitt Romney's father-in-law, and an avowed atheist (as Bill Maher is), who died Sep.8, 1992. Edward Davies was posthumously baptized into the LDS church on Sep.13, 1993 in the Salt Lake Temple. Both events can only be classified as truly bizarre.
