Bro[ther]. McKay said that on the 21st of June last he left for Chicago [Illinois], to attend the International Sunday School Convention, and was present at seventeen of the one hundred and fifty meetings of the convention. The Deseret Sunday School Union, he said, is not a part of the International Sunday School Convention, and he did not know that we want to be. He found that they are far behind us in Sunday School work, but he was satisfied that the Sunday school work is the best the sectarian churches can engage in, as it helps the churches, and is something all of them can unite on. ...
