CORRECTION: Lyndon B. Johnson was initiated [into freemasonry] on October 30, 1937 in Johnson City Lodge No. 561, at Johnson City, Texas, BUT completed only the Entered Apprentice, or first, of the three Masonic degrees.
it also resembles the 2nd secret token (handgrip), where the thumb rests on the space between the knuckle of the index finger and the knuckle of the middle finger.
