That was NOT the prophet of God Samuel who appeared unto Saul.
ReplyDeleteThat was the devil himself who "transformeth himself nigh unto an angel of light", or in this case, tried to transform himself nearly unto a true prophet of ancient Israel, that appeared unto the spiritually fallen Israelite king Saul.
Samuel was in the paradise of God ABOVE.
The devil ascended from the pit of hell BELOW to tell Saul that that is where he would be tomorrow - in hell with the devil and his demons.
Here is the key verse in 1st Samuel 28:

The 4 sons of Saul were:
Jonathan, a righteous man whose heart was knit with David's, killed at Mt. Glib, but with the prophet Samuel in Paradise.
Abinadab (aka, Ishui). killed at battle of Mt. Gilboa.
Malchishua. killed at battle of Mt. Gilboa.
Esh-Baal (aka, Ishbosheth). SURVIVED battle of Mt. Gilboa.

When anybody dies and goes to the Paradise of God to be with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and all the holy prophets since the world began, they are as they were in their 20s, not as old men or old women.
