Most of the day I was in committee meetings of a special committee appointed yesterday by the Fist Presidency for special purposes, to prepare data for a defense of the Church against assaults made upon it by its enemies. The members of the Committee were: Orson F. Whitney, David O. McKay, B. H. Roberts, Richard W. Young, Nephi L. Morris, James E. Talmage, Franklin S. Richards, Legrande Young, and myself.
