... Apostle Jno. H. Smith spoke. Topics treated. Dwelt upon the subject of punctuality and suggested that whoever came in first to the meetings, if he be the only one present, should open at the time appointed. ...

Apostle Jno. H. Smith reminded the brethren that the accepted rule of the church is that those connected with secret orders shall not be promoted in the priesthood or recommended to the temple....

Apostle Smoot raised the question as to whether it would be proper for children under eight years, or unbaptized children, to receive their patriarchal blessings. It was decided that this matter should be left to the discretion of the patriarchs....

At this point the tables were prepared and the brethren sat down to the sacrament, which was thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed. Apostle Jno. H. Smith blessed the bread and wine. Pres. Anthon H. Lund offered the benediction.
