[Leonard Arrington]

Yesterday I drove to Provo and spoke to [BYU] classes of Jan Tyler on the role of women in Mormon pioneer history-more or less an outline of my "Great Basin Queendom." [[This was Arrington's affectionate name for his notes on Martha Hughes Cannon, Susa Young Gates, Lula Greene Richards, Ellis Reynolds Shipp, and Julina Lambson Smith.]]
