1 Nephi 22:
ReplyDelete[26] And because of the righteousness of his people, Satan has no power; wherefore, he cannot be loosed for the space of many years; for he hath no power over the hearts of the people, for they dwell in righteousness, and the Holy One of Israel reigneth.
This is the FIRST 1000 year period upon the earth known as The Peaceful Reign and will occur while men, women, and children are still in a flesh and blood state, albeit a highly sanctified state similar to the antediluvian patriarchs and the 3 Nephites. This period of time will precede the End of the World, the 1st Resurrection, and the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ upon the earth with all the resurrected saints (commonly called the Millennium, i.e., the actually the 2nd Millenium).
"Where would they be then?"
Satan and his demons will be laying limp and prostrate on the ground during this entire FIRST 1000 year period of earth.
During the SECOND 1000 year period Satan will be bound with an IRON CHAIN and cast into a bottomless pit per Revelations 20:1-4.
