Attended meeting in the Tabernacle at 2 o'clock. A great dread came over me about having to speak. I had not met with the saints here but once or twice since last General Conference, and I felt that I ought to say something; but I wanted to have one of the Elders break the ice, and so told my brother Angus, who was presiding. There was no one, however, suitable that he could see, and at his request I arose, but was very much frightened. ...
