[Joseph Smith] An unknown delegation of Saints in Washington, D. C., presents a petition to the House Judiciary Committee, setting forth grievances about the Missouri persecutions.

The Congressional Record are all the published speeches (in book form-paperback?) given on the floor of the U.S. Congress and all the minutes of the various committee and sub-committee meetings and/or hearings.
It would be very interesting to note (if possible) what CCJ's original source for this curious item is. Newspaper?
