per 1991-1992 Deseret News Church Almanac, p.311, they were murdered on the evening of May 24th. They victims were Jeffrey B. Ball, 20, of Wanship, Utah, and Todd R. Wilson, 20, of Wellington, Utah. A memorial service attended by more than 1500 people was held May 28th in Bolivia at the La Paz Sopocachi stake center. Their funerals were held May 30th in Utah. The perpetrators were caught thru investigation of FBI agent Mike McPheters, former LDS missionary. See DMQ-2, MH:EP, Appendix 5, p.884.
