[Brigham Young Journal] ... attended a Cort marshel at the seventies hall the cort marshel Elected me for their Leutenant General [of the Nauvoo Legion] and Charles C. Rich for their Major General it was don with out a decenting voice in the evening at 6 o.c. we held a school meeting chose 3 trustees
