[Brigham Young Jr.]
Twelve had their meeting as usual with Presidency and I am informed important business relating to B[righam]. Y[oung]. Trust Co[mpany] came before the Council. Pres[ident] [George Q.] Cannon presiding he censured me for resigning my vice pres[idency] on B[righam]. Y[oung]. Trust Board & thought it was nonsense for me to say anything about helping to support fathers widows as I was not able to support myself & family. Of course I was not present. I feel very bad that Pres[ident]. C[annon] should feel to censure me to my brethren. I pray God to soften our hearts that we may serve Him in it all not cherish dislike to each other.
