Apostle John Henry Smith writes of a meeting of the Twelve. "[First Counselor] G[eorge] Q. Cannon had sent a request to have a vote of Confidence given to the presidency endorsing all they had done in property and other matters. I objected on the ground that we did not know what had been done."
