All endowed members were encouraged to have their own temple clothing. For those who do not own their own temple clothing, a substantial discount was to be provided to help members in acquiring their first set of temple clothing. Church just tribulations centers also had precut fabric from which temple clothing could be sewn. These materials replace all previous sewing patterns and instructions given to relief Society presidents. The sewing of temple clothing was to be done only by endowed members under the direction of the local Relief Society presidents.
