Brigham Young attends a meeting, in Salt Lake City, of the Universal Scientific Society and hears an address "by Dr. Richardson, upon the Subject of Concubinage as related to the Patriarchs of old etc." Young afterward expresses "his approbation and the joy and pleasure he felt at what he witnessed."
