[Brigham Young]

The Lord don't care a groat about a man's being drunk, it is us and the weak who stumble over his [weaknesses] and go to hell, and we have to tie the threads up. God don't care a groat about a man's getting drunk, it is the weak who stumble over into hell over them, and we have to tie the threads up'- It is the imperative duty of all who have means to go and cloth themselves, and like Paul be chargeable to no one, and if you get money without begging, take it [before] the people. The people have subscribed liberally, seems as though the bottom fell out. -- SLC Seventies Hall
