L[yman]. on the causes of Amasa [Lyman ]s departure from the faith-I thought it was because he wasn t well grounded in the faith of the Atonement wrought out by our Saviour-George said Pres[iden]t [Brigham] Young told him that Amasa had lifted his heel against the Lord s anointed.
