[Apostle Wilford Woodruff Journal] 16 I spent the forenoon in the Endowment House. We gave Endowments to 63. D H Wells sealed 19 Couple W Woodruff 14 Couple. I went to the office in the evening & done some Journalizing. In the morning Before going to the Endowment House, I dug up a peace of Ground & planted five diferent kinds of Raspbury the Fastolf, Belle De Fontaney, Brin[dl?]e Orange white, 5 kneveth Giant, & 1 Black. (1)

Hiram, Ohio. After Oliver Cowdery and John Whitmer left for Missouri with the compiled revelations and commandments, Joseph Smith resumed his inspired translation of the scriptures with Sidney Rigdon as his scribe. (3)
