[President Wilford Woodruff Journal] 26 Thanksgiving I spent the day at home. Owen with a Company went Hunting. There was 4 on a side. They Come out Even. They Got 20 Rabbits a peace. Asahel went with a company to Alpine & the whole Company ownly Got one Chicken And they travelled through a good Deal of snow. (1)

[J.D.T. McAllister Diary] Sends Temple Ceremonies to John Taylor

10 A.M. at the Temple 1 Sealing for the dead Adoptions 1 living and 9 dead, Allen Wilkison and Kindred Adopted to the Prophet Joseph Smith John L and L.G. Knight at the Alter I performed the Ceremony P.M. placed the Ceremonies of the Temple Parts and C in the hands of Apostle E Snow to be delivered to President John Taylor Salt Lake City. (2)

[Mark Hofmann] David Yocum, the recently elected Salt Lake County Attorney, removes prosecutor Gary D'Elia from the Hofmann case. Two weeks later D'Elia resigns from the county attorney's office. (3)
