Cotton Mather wrote the Royal Society that Mastodon bones at Claverack (on the Hudson River) provided evidence of a race of "antediluvian GIANTS" who walked with their heads in the clouds, called "Nephilim" in the Jewish tradition.

When the 2/3rd sealed portion of the BoM plates are translated someday in the not-too-distant future by the Choice Seer, the full-blooded American Indian Moses, the million dollar question of the dinosaurs (why and when) will be finally and completely answered. Stay tuned.
