[Apostle Marriner W. Merrill Diary] Sunday. I left Richmond at 6:20 a. m. for Salt Lake, Almira J. Merrill going with me. Went to Temple dedication services at 2:30 p. m. I was first speaker and spoke 15 minutes. I took Almira up on the elevator to the upper room and after meeting took her down through Temple in all the rooms. [This was the last day of the Salt Lake Temple dedications]
