[Apostle Heber J. Grant Diary] Called at MCune's office and had a chat with him and Fisher Harris. Met Ja[me]s H. Moyle and chatted with him and I feel sure he would like to see McCune elected Senator.

Context: this was a Thursday (Thanksgiving Day) in 1898. Heber would rather be out politicking rather than spending the holiday with his 2 polygamous wives, Gusta Winters and Emily Wells, and his children from them, and his children from his deceased legal and lawful wife, Lucy. (10 total surviving children - all girls - from 3 wives).
