70 years ago today - Nov 10, 1943

[George Albert Smith] [Apostle] R[ichard] R L[yman adultry] case on my mind. I hope and pray the charges are unfounded.

    The charges were indeed true. RRL was excommunicated 2 days later on Nov.12, 1943. He was rebaptized on Oct.27, 1954, and died Dec.31, 1963 in Salt Lake City, at age 93.
