[Utah] Apostle Boyd K. Packer tells All-Church Coordinating Council that LDS church faces three major threats: "The dangers I speak of come from the gay-lesbian movement, the feminist movement (both of which are relatively new), and the ever-present challenge from the so-called scholars or intellectuals."

Agree 100% with threat no.1. - a threat to the very foundation of our beloved nation itself.

Disagree only with no.2 as it relates to equal pay for equal work, which I support 100% for women. Agree that no.2 is a threat when they espouse a false belief in the existance of a Mother in Heaven Goddess (God's wife) or of women being ordained into the priesthood.

Disagree 100% with threat no.3 - scholars or intellectuals should always seek to find and bring to light the complete and whole truth wherever it is found, in church history or anywhere else for that matter.
