    The above entry seems to contradict the following entry in Church News Historical Chronology of The LDS Church for the preceding month:

    "April 1948 — Mission presidents from around the world reported increasing numbers of baptisms. An expanded building program was started."

    Can you provide more context to this entry, seeing that there are ditto marks at the end of the entry.
