Newspaper reports that Brigham Young University has fired Hebrew professor David P. Wright due to his private disbelief in Book of Mormon as ancient history. Wright joins faculty of Brandeis University and is excommunicated in 1994 for publishing article which applies biblical textual criticism to BOOK OF MORMON. This is reported in national CHRONICLE OF HIGHER EDUCATION.
