Lewis Harvey of Pleasant Grove called to see me. He said he had recently had a very severe sick spell and his spirit had a chance to visit the other side. He saw father and Prest. Young and many other of the brethren and sisters and they were all just as happy and as busy as they could be. They blessed him and told him he must return for there was still work on this side to do.

This is a manifestation from the devil. The souls of both George A. Smith and Brigham Young dwell in outer darkness (Hell). They were both notoriously unrepentant practitioners of whoredom (polygamy), and were also both complicit in the Mountain Meadows Massacre and the coverup afterwards.
