[Frank Evans] President Clark came to my desk and when I drew aside with him he said, “Did you notice that my signature to the Fairbanks letter (letter dated November 10, 1936), later accepted by the First Presidency, thereby constituting a contract) was stamped on and that I did not actually sign it?” My reply was “Yes, I noticed that.”
