[Apostle Wilford Woodruff Journal] He [George Q. Cannon] said there would be a Dividing Line in this Church and that line would be Between those who Could Preach the whole Law of God including the word of wisdom and practice what they Preach & those who Could not.

  1. "Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities." (1Tim.5:23)

Somes things in D&C 89 are correct, but other things in D&C 89 are not correct. The LDS accept everything without having or using any discernment between truth and error.

Jesus Christ, when in the flesh, turned water into wine according to the gospel of John (John 2:1-11), and in the Book of Mormon (3rd Nephi 18:1-14; 3rd Nephi 20:1-9) the resurrected Christ COMMANDED that wine be used for sacrament.

Joseph Smith and the LDS have turned wine into water.

The commandments of Jesus Christ ALWAYS overrule the false teachings and erroneous snippets of Joseph Smith.

The Church of Jesus Christ [WHQ: Monongahela, Pennsylvania] has always used wine in its sacrament services.
