[Apostle Heber J. Grant Diary] Learned that Bp Andrew Burt of the 21st Ward Salt Lake was shot & killed yesterday by a negro, and that the nigger that did the shooting had been hung by the citizens. --also learned that Chas Wilcken was shot in the arm by the same nigger.
