There was ONLY ONE Personage, Jesus Christ the Eternal Son of God, that appeared to Joseph Smith near the top of the maple trees in the wooded grove on the Smith farm in early spring 1820 (March 26th or April 2nd). God the Eternal Father [whose name alone is JEHOVAH per Psalm 83:18] does not move off of or away from His Great White Throne - never ever has He done so. Joseph Smith heard only the voice of the Father saying: "This is My Beloved Son, hear ye Him." The 2 personage myth is a falsification of church history done by Joseph Smith beginning in 1838 and also a corruption of the pure doctrines of the KJV and the BOM only, and also proves that the foundation of the Salt Lake LDS church is built on sinking sand.
