Mr. Scorsese would find it very interesting to know that many in the "False Fifteen" of the LDS church hierarchy have always secretly believed (but they will always deny it publicly when challenged) that Mary Magdalene was and is a secret eternal plural wife of Christ. Joseph Fielding Smith, 10th LDS church president (from 1970-72) was one such individual who had this foolish, blasphemous, and sacreligious belief.
